Abberley Mobility Adjustable Beds
Choosing the right mobility adjustable bed is important in health and social care at home, yet the importance of providing the right mobility adjustable bed for the user AND carer is sometimes overlooked i.e. the user doesn’t want their mobility adjustable bed to resemble a hospital bed, but the carer, needs the bed to function like a hospital bed, including adjusting to the correct height.
Unlike standard hospital beds, Abberley mobility adjustable beds have a 5-part frame. The mattress can be profiled to sit the user up and prevent them slipping down the bed, and the height is adjustable. Movement is controlled by the carer and, if appropriate, the person, with the use of a bedside handset.
Abberley mobility adjustable beds are available upholstered in faux leather which is soft to handle, wipe clean and M.R.S.A infection resistant. A choice of mattress including pressure relieving memory foam and optional moisture resistant cover. Optional side rails and grab rails are available as well as cut-outs for a hoist if required.
Abberley mobility adjustable beds can help overcome many of the difficulties associated with the positioning and mobilisation of the patient and offers many advantages, including:
