Orders and Delivery

All orders are processed during normal hours of trade (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm) and every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted; usually within 15-20 working days; and in any event within 40 working days of your order.

 

However, we will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this case, we will inform you as soon as possible.

 

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the goods will fit into the chosen location and that there is satisfactory access. Where access to chosen location is not possible alternative arrangements can be considered at the customer's expense.

 

Free Delivery

Care & Comfort Products Limited offer from time to time (and for a limited period only) free delivery (UK & Ireland only). Deliveries are not made and services will not be performed outside the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland unless otherwise expressly agreed.

 

Guarantee

All of our Care & Comfort Products Limited products carry a standard 24 month guarantee against faulty workmanship. If in your opinion your product develops a fault, simply contact our customer service team, who will be happy to help you.

Mattresses

10 year warranty on a sliding scale.

3-5 years (40 % of the current retail price)

5-10 years (80 % of the current retail price)

The mattress warranty is void if it is found to be a fault from misuse. Examples of misuse are subjecting the product to excessive wear and tear e.g. jumping on mattress, use without bed linen, using mattress on any other bed base surround other than bed base surround purchased with mattress.

 

Electric Adjustable Bed Frames

Will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 10 years (ten years) from time of delivery. Warranty is void if it is found to be a fault from misuse. Examples of misuse are subjecting the product to excessive wear and tear e.g. sitting on bed whilst in raised position.

 

Base Surrounds

Will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 10 years (ten years) from time of delivery. All base surrounds are built to a height of 24 inches (610mm) from floor to mattress top unless otherwise stated at time of purchase. Warranty is void if it is found to be a fault from misuse. Examples of misuse are subjecting the product to excessive wear and tear e.g. moving the bed without using reasonable care.

 

Hand Sets

Will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 years (two years) from time of delivery.

Care & Comfort Products Limited does not warrant any of its products as being a remedy for any specific medical condition, individual comfort or support preferences.

Care & Comfort Products Limited warranty and other performance guarantees are based on tests conducted by Care & Comfort Products Limited and inappropriate use could invalidate your Care & Comfort Products Limited warranty and all other warranties, whether express or implied, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of satisfactory quality and fitness for purpose.

Replacement Electric Adjustable Bed Mattress

 

Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations

(a) Under the terms of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (SI 2000 NO. 2334) implement directive 97/7/EC of 20 May 1997 on the protection of consumers in respect of distance contracts (known as the distance selling directive), customers are allowed a 7 (seven) full day cooling off period on all online purchases after receiving the goods, providing your items are unused and in their original packaging.

 

(b) Due to the intimate nature of Mattresses and Bedding these are exempt from the statutory 7 day cooling off period under the Distance Selling Regulations when they have been unsealed. Therefore, for reasons of health and hygiene any mattresses or bedding that has been unsealed will be deemed to be used and cannot be returned for any reason other than a manufacturing fault. The Buyer must retain the Goods and take good care of them until they are returned. The Goods must be unused, made available for collection and be in the original packaging and in the original condition.

 

Liability

If an error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. In the event that you order an item and the price published on this website is incorrect for any reason, we will contact you to let you know the correct price and ask you whether you still wish us to fulfil your order at this price. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product which was advertised at an incorrect price.

 

We shall give you the option of confirming the order at the correct price or if you so choose, to cancel the order altogether. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods in the circumstances described in this clause, we shall refund the full amount in accordance with these Terms. Care & Comfort Products Limited will do its best to correct errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after being notified of them.

 

Refunds Policy

Any other refunds not covered by the above will be given solely at the discretion of the Company Management. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that goods are returned adequately packed. The customer will be liable for all return costs unless the goods are faulty. No returns will be accepted if goods have had headings pulled or adjusted in any way.

Exchange Policy

Every electric adjustable bed set and/or replacement  electric adjustable bed mattress supplied by Care & Comfort Products Limited is made to order, we pride ourselves on providing and delivering mattresses made to your individual requirements i.e. we do not keep any stock of electric adjustable bed sets or replacement electric adjustable bed mattresses. Subject to the level of personalization, distance selling regulations do not apply on your order.

 

Distance selling regulations may only apply to customer orders that have been sold from Care & Comfort Products Limited stock i.e. pillows; in this case you must notify us in writing within 7 days (emails are accepted).

 

Should you wish to return your goods under this agreement, it is your responsibility to take good care of the item or items. You are the owner of the item or items once it has been delivered to you, and are liable for any loss or damage, all goods returned should be in original packaging and unused.

 

It is your responsibility to return the goods to the original delivery point in good condition and with the original packaging, where customers do not have the means to send it back; we will arrange collection during normal delivery hours (Monday to Friday). If requested, in such circumstances a charge of up to 25% of the original price of the item or items will be made to cover the cost of collection, and administration.

 

Access

Provided there is reasonable access, we will do our best to place the goods in the desired location. It is your responsibility to ensure that the product/s can be delivered into you home and into your chosen location. You should think in particular about vehicle access, lifts and tight stairs etc. If windows or doors need to be removed in order for access to be gained it is your responsibility to arrange this at your cost and risk.

 

None of the above affects your statutory rights.
